How to establish healthy habits.
So many people look at supplements and immediately think diet culture. I will never tell a client they need to go on a diet. Rather tell you that making healthy choices one at a time will catapult you into making more healthy choices. It’s like the snowball effect. When you start prioritizing wellness you will see how your state of mind can change everything. I am a mom of three kids and in my three pregnancies had Gestational Diabetes. The first time around I looked at what someone with Gestational Diabetes should be eating and I threw most of my food in my daily diet out and ended up crashing hard. I was miserable to say the least. After I had my third baby I had my A1C levels tested and I was categorized as pre-diabetic. Remembering how hard of a time I had when I switched to the GD diet I refused to do that again. I am determined to not let food have a chock-hold on me. As soon as I started swapping out my afternoon Pepsi for GreenSynergy Elixir + Fizz I started feeling more comfortable eliminating other habits such as my nightly graham cracker binging and sweets. That is what we are doing here. Eliminating one habit at a time, moving our bodies each day (if possible) and changing our mindset on food and diet.
